| The Cathedral Ferry is always looking for new volunteer recruits!

| No previous boating experience necessary.
|
We will teach you:
- How to row a boat
- Boat handling skills
- Rules of the river
- Embark and disembark passengers safely
- Water safety and emergency drills
- First aid
- Boat maintenance
|
You will become part of a dedicated team of volunteers who operate and maintain Doris, the ferry. The ferry service as well as being an enjoyable community asset, also raises funds for local charities.
